Previously, Director of London Art Portfolio, Julia Dennis, was teaching in sculpture part time at Leeds University and in mixed media fine art at various London Universities and in Sussex. Prior to that, Julia was Course leader of a National Diploma in Fine Arts in Sussex for 9 years, Her students included a mix of age ranges including mature students who wanted to re-train, or were aiming to go to University.

In Europe Julia has taught in the UK and Italy and designed a project for an International EU funded project with FE & HE partners in Finland, Sweden and Belgium, which was highly successful. In Italy she taught at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Turin, where she co-ordinated a drawing program for the degree design departments. She is fluent in Italian, oral and written and has a fair understanding of French and Spanish. Many of her ex-students live and work abroad now.

Our alumni have gone on to study degrees at Ruskin School of Art - Oxford, Goldsmiths, Kingston, University of the Arts London (UAL), University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and many other leading institutions.
