Personal Message
I am a final year scholarship student at the Royal College of Music and a former principal of the NYO. I'm a passionate teacher with an encouraging and positive approach, with lessons tailored to each individual.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Flute, Piccolo and Music Theory.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am in my final year of my degree in Flute Performance at the RCM, and have grade 8 distinction in flute.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have played at the BBC Proms on numerous occasions and have recently played with English National Opera as part of the RCM/ENO evolve scheme 2017/18 for which I won a place on this year. I have recorded for the Naxos Music Label with the Mela Guitar Quartet and have performed as Principal of the RCM philharmonic Orchestra many times during my studies.

As a teacher I enjoy teaching in schools and privately. I have taken pupils through all graded exams, I have also helped pupils prepare for their GCSE and A Level recordings. I am passionate teacher who plans and tailors all lessons to the individual’s needs.
How much do you charge?
My rates teaching at home are as follows: £25 for 30 minutes, £30 for 45 minutes and £40 for an hour.
For travelling to pupils I charge £25 for 30 minutes, £35 for 45 minutes, and £45 for an hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home in Queens Park, and also travel to pupils' homes. I am happy to travel to Hampstead, Finchley Road, Belsize Park, St Johns Wood, Warwick Avenue, Maida Vale, Primrose Hill, Regents Park, Warren Street, Wembley, Shepherps Bush, Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea.
When are you available?
I teach during the week and on weekends, and can normally be quite flexible with time.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach beginner to advanced level.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare pupils for:
- ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall graded exams
- GCSE and A level recordings
- Theory exams
