I am passionate about teaching and inspiring my students to fulfil their potential. I have over 20 years teaching experience and also play professionally all over the world.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 20 years of teaching experience from beginners to post conservatoire standard. I regularly coach students for entry into music college, both junior and regular entry. I also teach adults who would like to play for fun and those who simply want to improve their skills.

I coach Youth Orchestras and give masterclasses to schools and universities and Wind Orchestras across the UK and abroad. I have taught in schools, and at Trinity Laban Junior department. Most of my pupils now are private who come to my house where I have a lovely music studio.
How much do you charge?
30mins: £20
45mins: £30
1 hr: £40

I charge a small fee (usually around £5) to visit students to cover travel costs and time, depending on distance
Where do you teach?
I mainly teach at home in Twickenham, which is close to St Margaret's, Richmond, Isleworth, Brentford and Chiswick.

I will consider teaching at students' homes depending on the travel time and distance.
When are you available?
I like to be flexible when working with pupils to find the right time for all of us! Usually weekdays and weekends can work. I also teach through half term and holidays depending on my availability.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages from 8-80!
I also teach all levels from beginners to professional, and can offer regular or occasional lessons depending on the students' requirements.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity grade exams, entry into Junior Music College, regular Music College, entry for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, County Youth Orchestras, competition sand music scholarships into secondary school.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

I am happy to do Skype lessons which work well for some students.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Musicians' Union.
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, and Royal Holloway.
I have ongoing lessons with London based professional orchestral principal players.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently have a variety of students of differing standards, and recently had two who have been accepted into Junior Guildhall and Trinity College of Music. Others are doing grades 5-8 this term.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I aim to get the most out of my students, covering all aspects of technique and musicality, giving variety in the lessons and of course making them as enjoyable and inspiring as possible!
