I'm a professional musician from the Isle of Skye. I've played folk music all my life and trained at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music where I learnt from the best leading tutors in the world of traditional folk music.

I teach traditional Scottish/Irish fiddling, and music theory and harmony.

What kind of experience do you have?
I've played professionally as a soloist and in bands and learnt from the leading musicians in Traditional Folk music during my 4 years at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music. Other trainings include: BA at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, HNC at Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts, 1 year Foundation Diploma at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I can travel all over London though I am based in Borough.
When are you available?
I have flexible availability.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages, and complete beginners are welcome.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I don't have a DBS but I do have a Basic Security clearance as I have worked as an au pair and taught English to children in Italy for several summers.

Do you have a personal message for students?
I'm a professional freelance musician from the Isle of Skye in Scotland, and have been working and living in London for 5 years. I've played folk music all my life, learning aurally as a child before training at the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music where I developed my music theory and harmony. I learnt from the best leading tutors in the world of Traditional Folk music.
I also trained in Gaelic singing and got my BA Acting degree in London this year.
