What kind of experience do you have?
I am currently a violin teacher at St Mary of the Angels and St Stephen´s Primary schools in London. My main role in these two schools is to provide one to one violin lessons, chamber music coaching and support orchestral sessions, as well as assessing the progress of my students throughout the school year. I often recommend scores the Music Department should consider acquiring and I also talk to parents about the students´ progress.

It fascinates me to provide my pupils with a strong foundation so that they can build on it and express themselves through music. I think it is crucial to create positive relationships with my students to favour a better learning environment.

I seek to learn from my Professor at the RCM and the Yehudi Menuhin School, Natasha Boyarsky, who always encourages me to find the best methods for each individual student. Still to this day, I observe the lessons she gives to children of different ages and abilities. Additionally, through educational literature I am hungry to widen my horizon and develop on my own knowledge.

I aim to be an inspiring, creative and flexible teacher, continuously developing my students' interest in music through theoretical and practical skills. I carefully plan my lessons in order to help my pupils make progress and achieve their goals. I aim to create a good atmosphere during the lessons which will enable my students to reach their potential and explore their creativity.

I will always give the needed individual attention to each of my students. I believe each student requires me to adapt my teaching skills to their interests, knowledge and ability in order to fulfill their potential to the maximum. Learning how to play the violin can be done to a professional level and also as an interest to broaden anyone's horizons.
