I am an enthusiastic lover of Classics with an ambition to help others love learning! I offer Greek and Latin tuition for all and am committed to working with you to achieve your desired outcomes.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Latin, Ancient Greek and Classical Civilisation.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a 1st class honours degree in Classics from University College London and a PGCE in Classics from Kings College London.
What kind of experience do you have?
I am a qualified teacher and have been teaching Greek, Latin and Classical Civilisation at all levels from beginner to A level for several years. I therefore am familiar with areas where students struggle and am experienced in helping learners overcome these hurdles, as well as offering a strong understanding of exam requirements.

Prior to this I have also worked as a tutor in the past, where as well as GCSE and common entrance students I have also worked with adult learners and those learning for fun, and I thoroughly enjoy helping all clients to achieve their goals, whatever their needs.
How much do you charge?
£40 for A level tuition and GCSE tuition and £35 for Common Entrance / elementary Latin. Free initial consultation meeting and 10% discount on block bookings of 6 sessions or more. Travelling fees apply for locations in zones 1 or 2.
Where do you teach?
I am willing to travel to students' homes across London and Surrey.
When are you available?
Evenings and weekends during term-time, and can also offer day slots during school holidays. I'm pretty flexible though so get in touch to discuss!
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages, including adult learners and primary Latin (Minimus). Latin and Greek to A level including common entrance.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
