FULLY BOOKED FOR GUITAR - STILL SPACES FOR MUSIC PRODUCTION I am a friendly & highly experienced tutor & have taught music for 10+ years. In addition to work in schools I teach privately 1-to-1 lessons throughout the week 4:30pm - 7:30pm.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
My main subjects are guitar (variety of genres from folk & rock to blues and classical) and music production. I teach guitar at all ability levels and am fully equipped to deliver grades 1-5 training in the Rockschool Music Production syllabus (you can read more about this syllabus here:

What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught guitar, music production and composition both privately and on behalf of other organisations, including with a song-writing workshop at The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead, an electric guitar master-class at Sound It Out Studios, Walsall and regular music production sessions at Roman Fields School, Hemel Hempstead. I regularly teach guitar in schools in Harpenden, Luton and Hemel Hempstead. I am very adaptable and always tailor the content of my sessions to best meet the interests and abilities of my students.

I have also composed and produced music for over ten years, including for several TV shows, film and radio, (for example BBC Devon radio), award-winning filmmakers 4bi9 Media and for various production companies such as ROBA and Tree of Arts. I have performed acoustic and electric guitar music at a variety of prestigious venues across the London and Home Counties circuit, including Monto Water Rats, Camden's Proud Galleries and The Good Ship.
How much do you charge?
Private guitar tuition: £30 per hour or £15 per half hour.

Private music production tuition: £55 for 2 hours or £30 per hour.

Outreach tuition in schools, arts centres etc.: same as above + travel expenses
Where do you teach?
All private lessons take place at a home studio in London Colney, St Albans. I do also provide outreach tuition for schools, arts centres etc. - if you would like to discuss details and rates for this further please contact me.
When are you available?
30 minute or 1 hour slots are available between the following times:

Monday: 10.00am - 8.00pm
Tuesday: 10.00am - 8.00pm
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Acoustic and Electric guitar: All ages welcome and beginners through to advanced.
Music Production: All ages welcome. Following the new Rockschool Music Production syllabus. I am fully equipped to deliver grades 1-5 in either Cubase or Garageband. Non-grade students are also welcome.

Where and with whom did you train?
I have studied under a variety of tutors including Randy Napoleon (guitarist for Freddy Cole Quartet, Michael Buble, Benny Green and others) and extensive training with virtuoso Nick Andrew, a renowned session guitarist and a previous judge for the international competition ‘Guitar Idol’.
Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students include acoustic, classical and electric guitarists and music production students. I tailor my lessons to their interests and abilities - currently the guitarists are learning everything from Metal and Classic Rock to Country, Pop and Classical. Music production students have been learning how to record, mix and master their own compositions.
