Personal Message
I am a classical trained piano teacher, and an italian and latin language tutor.

My motto is: qui docet discit. Because teaching is giving and receiving every day. Especially from kids.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Piano (ABRSM grades 1-8, sightreading and aural tests inclusive)
Music theory (history, solfeggio, basic harmonic rules)
Italian language (all levels, grammar rules, conversation, translation and specific sectors)
Latin (basic and intermediate, grammar rules, easy exams).
Tell me about your qualifications.
BMus (2006) - Naric UK state of comparability for Italian piano diploma.
Master Degree of Art (2010) and Italian literature.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching music for more than 10 years. I started in my academy during my course, and I continued in several public schools in Italy.
Since 2011, I teach at my student's home here in London, preparing them for Abrsm graded exams.

I teach Italian and Latin to adults learner; I worked in several private schools in Italy with foreign students.
How much do you charge?
Usually I charge £30/lesson but this may vary depending on the age, the course and how far I have to travel.
Where do you teach?
I teach at the student's home and in my house, in specific cases. I'm based near West Hampstead with good connection by Tube and Rail National Service, so I can cover the North West area of London (Hampstead, Brent Cross, Goldens Green, Camden, Kentish Town, Finchley Central, Archway).

My students are now in Cricklewood, West Hampstead, S. John's Wood, Maida Vale, Finchley Central.
When are you available?
I have 12 students around my area and some lessons scheduled but I still have free slots in different days during the week.
Depending on where you are based I can offer you all the available options.
I also teach during the weekend.

Available now Thursdays on S. John's wood and Saturdays in Finchley Central.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from beginners to advanced, for grades or leisure.
I usually teach children from 6 years old upwards. Adults are also welcomed.
Italian and Latin lessons are for everyone.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare for every kind of purpose, from ABRSM exams to Trinity Guildhall exams.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes, I have a standard CRB check and I can show it to anyone requires.
I will be happy to give you references from other parents if you prefer.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Skype lessons. Payment will be done using Paypal the day before our lesson.
Where and with whom did you train?
I was trained in Rome with Francesca Bacci and Elisabetta Pacelli, both professors in Santa Cecilia Academy.

I studied Italian and Latin ( along with art, history, geography and basic Greek) in the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I have an average of 12 students in a week. Most of them study for taking ABRSM grades, some play and practice just for fun.
Not all of them have a weekly lesson but prefer a flexible schedule, especially adults. Kids prefer having their weekly lesson.
Do you have a personal message for students?
My lessons are one to one and tailored on the student’s need. I like to adapt the course to the individual attitude and maturity of every student, since I am strongly supportive in the personal development.

Every lesson will encompass:
– good posture and hand position
– recognizing musical symbols and theory
– sight reading
– repertoire
– rhythm and harmony.

I will help you resolving technical issues as well as developing principal of musical interpretation. We will review together our progresses and most of this work will involve parents – they will be precious for every kind of feedback regarding our lessons. Students will be required to practice every day if they wish to prepare an exam or after passing the Prep Test for Abrsm.

Italian lesson required less practice during the week and generally doing some exercises is enough. However we will cover all the grammar, the spelling and the vocabulary needed during the lesson. I am native speaker and I will suggest you some italian websites and radios to improve your specking.

Latin lesson are subject to a syllabus if you need to boost it for school and our lesson will encompass everything from grammar to reading.
