Personal Message
Discover and strengthen your singing voice and learn how to sing solo with confidence. My vocal coaching will be tailored to your specific and individual needs, focussing on your unique talents, personality and requirements.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Singing, Acting/Drama, Acting through song, Coaching for Auditions, Voice coaching, Vocal Confidence Development and Acting through song.
I also offer tutoring in Conversational German, Business German, sung German (Opera) and German Phonetics.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I'm a DBS checked Singing Teacher, Vocal Confidence Trainer and Acting Coach. I have trained in Musical Theatre and Singing Teaching at the University of Arts Berlin and the Royal Academy of Music London and graduated from both these conservatoires with Distinction.
What kind of experience do you have?
Alongside my professional work as a singer and actress on stage I have been working as a Teacher and Coach for nearly 10 years now.
I teach singing for kids and adults and prepare young, upcoming talents specifically for their auditions at drama schools, advising them about appropriate repertoire and song choices.
I am also experienced in working with adults who want to discover and/or further develop their voice and confidence singing solo.
Apart from working as a one-to-one tutor I have furthermore lead musical theatre workshops with groups of up to 15 people in the past.
How much do you charge?
Depending on whether a room is provided or I have to hire a space I charge between £30 and £50 including travel expenses. Discounts for students or group bookings are available on request.
Where do you teach?
I am based in south London and normally travel to the student's homes. Even if you live in an area not listed above, as long as you still live in London do not hesitate to contact me. For singing lessons and acting coaching I usually hire a room near Edgware Road.

I also offer Coaching via Skype - a great and convenient way of getting one-to-one teaching no matter where you are in the world.
When are you available?
I am fairly flexible and can teach during the week as well as on the weekends.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Singing/Acting/Musical Theatre: All levels, age 10 - 99
German: Conversational Intermediate, age 10 - 99
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
As more and more students are contacting me from all over the world I offer Skype lessons on a regular basis. This also comes in handy if you are less flexible to travel around london or would like to squeeze a lesson into your lunch break.
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Berlin University of Arts (Diploma in Musical Theatre with Distinction) and at the Royal Academy of Music (postgraduate Musical Theatre Diploma with Distinction)
I received special training to qualify as a singing teacher and get my LRAM (Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music) from 2014-2015.

My singing teachers include Mary Hammond, Louise Shephard, Mary King and Maureen Scott.
Acting teachers include Dylan Brown, Mia Soteriou, Matt Ryan, Jeremy Sams and Jonathan Butterel.
Accent/Phonetic Coaches include Anne-Marie Speed and Helen Ashton
Tell me about some of your current students.
Currently I teach a variety of students at different levels and ages. Most recently I have coached a 21 Year old Actor preparing for drama school who needed help with the singing bit of the audition- choosing the correct repertoire suitable for his age and casting as well as getting the voice going and making him comfortable when singing solo- Something he hadn't really done before he came to my lessons.

Speaking of versatility and variety, another client of mine is an acclaimed Opera Singer from Australia soon to be appearing in an Opera with German Dialogue- I'm teaching her the correct German pronunciation as well as well as giving her advice on conversational German expressions for auditions and the like. Already she has improved a lot!
Do you have a personal message for students?
Please do not hesitate to contact me, even if you feel you might need help with something I haven't listed above. I am happy to advise you and help you achieve your goals.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
