What kind of experience do you have?
I have 19 years of experience using AutoCAD in various design orientated jobs.
I am currently a Designer for Havelock Europa in Kirkcaldy and taught beginners AutoCAD as a supply lecturer for Forth Valley College for two years.
I also worked for Ikea Edinburgh for 12 years as a designer, using AutoCAD.
My tutoring is mainly one-to-one with students/clients in their office location or home environment, which ever is most convenient.
How much do you charge?
I charge £20 per hour, this includes a manual and travelling expenses. The minimum length of session is two hours.
Where do you teach?
I can teach at the students address / office or a venue in between. Ideally the student should have a version of AutoCAD, ranging from anything from 2007 to 2018 version.
When are you available?
I am predominently available in the evenings and weekends.
Teaching during the day is possible by appointment.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach beginners AutoCAD, so the age range is generally from 5th & 6th age at secondary school upwards.
Its never too late to learn a new skill.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
A basic knowledge of AutoCAD is good grounding for a College or University course which has an AutoCAD element.
Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction & Manufacturing Industries etc all using AutoCAD as an integral part of their job.
Many companies are also training up their own staff to be competent in AutoCAD so that the basics can be achieved in-house saving the expense of outsourcing.

I have a current Disclosure Scotland certificate,
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I use email and AutoCAD help desk to assist the students.

I taught at college as a supply lecturer for 2 years and have trained clients in the work place all over Scotland.
