Greetings! I am currently studying at the Royal College of Music majoring in piano. I'm a passionate and enthusiastic teacher and my lessons will be structured to your individual needs. Helping students to achieve their musical goals.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been preparing students for ABRSM exams. I have participated in piano competitions internationally such as being a finalist at the ASIA Japan International Chopin Piano competition, and also performing in various venues across the UK such as the Steinway Hall, Reform Club. Thus, I am very familiar with the procedures of preparing for a performance, whether for a grade exam or for the public or even competitions. I have also accompanied people for their exams.

Furthermore, I have taken DIPABRSM (ABRSM) and LRSM (ABRSM), Grade 8 Piano (ABRSM).
How much do you charge?
Beginner and Grades 1-4 piano and ABRSM music theory: £30/h
Grades 5-6 piano and ABRSM music theory and adult casual learning: £35/h
Grades 7-8 and above piano and ABRSM music theory: £40/h
Where do you teach?
I teach only at home in Kings Cross, N1 9FN or 3 Mile radius around king cross station.
When are you available?
Current Vacancies:
Am able to teach on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, saturday too. Ask for specific timing upon enquiry.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
age 9 and over, From Grade 1 onwards till Grade 8. I have three years of experience in teaching various levels and types of learners who have different goals towards music learning. Beginner to advanced or degree levels for piano and music theory. Serious or casual learner. I have particular experience with ABRSM exams.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Casual, ABRSM or Trinity exams, competitions and concerts as well as school exams (GCSE etc)
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No, but I am willing to get one if required.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
Online tutoring is by skype and email. However, if you have an alternative that would be more suitable for you, I am happy to go with that.
Where and with whom did you train?
I am currently studying at the Royal College of Music with Professor Danny Driver as an RCM Scholar, previous professor include Julian Jacobson and Gordon Fergus-Thompson. Previously trained with Loo Bang Hean in Malaysia from UCSI University. I have performed in masterclasses with acclaimed pianists such as Dennis Lee, Toh Chee Hung, Leslie Howard, Benjamin Loh, Chang Hae Won.
Tell me about some of your current students.
One of my students has a distinction in Grade 5 piano. Another students have achieved Grade 5 with merit. One has gone on to achieve a merit on Grade 4. I've had students of varying ages and levels, including a teenage intermediate casual learner, and adult beginner.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I have been teaching and understand that every student is different. In order to maximise their learning, I will always develop teaching method to suit their needs and therefore they can get the most out of it. Furthermore, I am patient, serious, responsible. professional and plan well.
