Hello, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and now I'm a Londoner. I'm a percussionist with 15 years professional experience in performance and education and I enjoy coaching students on their way.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
We can focus on classical percussion like marimba, timpani & snare drum and/or groove percussion like drumset, congas and cajon. I also specialize in rudimental drumming for drumlines.

BM Honors- Univ. Southern California Thornton School of Music
MM Honors- Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts
What kind of experience do you have?
I perform in a range of genres including orchestral, jazz, musical theatre, recording for film & TV, and pop. I've also held teaching positions at the Harvard Westlake School, Young Musician's Foundation, and Luzerne Music Center.

Performance credits include: the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, P-Diddy at the American Music Awards, Cirque Du Soleil live on MTV, American Idol, ABC Family, Taylor Swift, David Benoit, Jane Monheit, John Williams, Bobby Mc Ferrin, Chris Botti, Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Neville Marriner, the Dave Ricard Big Band, American Music Theatre & Drama Academy, Long Beach Opera, performances at Carnegie Hall, and LA's Walt Disney Concert Hall.

How much do you charge?
At my studio:
£35 p/hr weekdays before 5pm
£40 p/hr weekdays after 5pm or on weekends

Where do you teach?
I teach students in Chiswick, Acton, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Richmond upon Thames, Kensington & Chelsea areas.

Studio is located in Chiswick near the piccadilly, district, and overground lines. It's a brand new facility with parking, reception, lounge, and a variety of percussion instruments.

In some cases I am also able to travel to students houses for lessons.

ages 5 to 18 and adult
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Everyone is different and I aspire to help students learn fundamental techniques as well as developing creativity and a unique musical identity. We can focus on certificate exams or build our own curriculum based on your interests, or a little of both.
