Personal Message
Hi, I'm a fully qualified native English teacher originally from Bristol.

I give a wide range of English lessons from essay writing guidance, exam prep (GCSE, FCE, IELTS), proofreading and business English.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
English language, for native speakers, with an emphasis on English Literature, Drama, Cultural Studies, and Sociology. I teach English language to non-native adults and help native speakers with essays and exams. I teach specialist business courses such as presentations, meetings, or
general conversation. I can also help with small talk and social English.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am studying an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at Central School of Speech and Drama
I have a BA Hons Degree in English Literature & Philosophy from Birmingham University, UK, and a CELTA.
I am also fluent in French and I speak elementary Korean.
What kind of experience do you have?
I taught business and general English in France for ten years at such companies as L'Oréal, Christian Dior, and Carrefour. Then I spent
2 years in South Korea teaching at Samsung, LG, and Hyundai. In the UK I have been a private tutor for three years, helping with essays, proofreading,
How much do you charge?
I charge £25 per hour for general lessons and exam prep. I can offer discounts for pre-booked lessons.
Where do you teach?
I teach at my home, or at the student's place, or in an agreed meeting point.
I live near Clifton village in Bristol. I'm willing to travel if it's in Bristol.
When are you available?
Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm. If you want a lesson outside these times then let me know and I'll see if I'm available,
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach adults at all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. I also teach younger learners at GCSE level.
I have many students who aren't native speakers, have a good level of English, but find it difficult to communicate at work.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare for the IELTS exams and the Cambridge exams for business or general English, and GCSE exams - English and Drama.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have a full clear up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can teach using Skype or FaceTime if you have a Mac. I can email you texts or exercise to prepare before then we
can have the lesson.
Do you have a personal message for students?
I can help you to get over a lack of confidence in your studies, your writing, or your speaking. I am very passionate about teaching English and writing and motivate you
to improve your writing, speaking, and exams prospects.

For non-native speakers - If you're worried about your English when contacting me, just use a translating program - I won't be critical.
