Hi there - I'm Leanne Johnson. I am a professional Actor and Voice Over artist and have been teaching LAMDA and Drama for the last 6 years. I am also the founder of The Chelmsford Drama Centre where I teach both LAMDA and DRAMA.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach LAMDA examinations, which can range from anything from the Acting Examinations to Poetry and Prose, Public Speaking and Group Examinations. I also help prepare students for agency and Drama School auditions, drama scholarship awards and I also help students with speech issues or difficulties.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA Hons degree from the University of Sussex. I also have a Postgraduate in Professional Acting from the internally acclaimed Drama Studio London. Director of The Chelmsford Drama Centre.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught performing arts (singing, acting and dance) for 6 years, teaching 3-18 year olds all across Essex and London. I have also taught LAMDA examinations for three years, privately and through performing arts schools, my students always receiving high grades for their exams which is something I am extremely proud of. How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour for my tuition per person. Group rates please contact me.
Where do you teach?
Central Chelmsford at my home. At The Chelmsford Drama Centre in Springfield Road and Chelmer Village.
When are you available?
I am available after school from 3pm onwards most evenings. I also offer weekend lessons if required.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach from ages 5+ and teach all levels of LAMDA and Drama.

Tell me about some of your current students.
One of my students recently won the Mary Skill award scholarship for excellence in Drama, under my tuition. I also have many students that wish to work on building confidence and improving their speech.

I deliver fun lessons that will not only teach you the skills of Drama and LAMDA, but will tremendously boost your confidence. I hope that my experience of being a professional actor will help to guide and nurture you and I will impart as much wisdom and advice as I possibly can.
