An experienced ESOL teacher with an excellent rate of achievement. I taught at University, school and in the Lifelong Learning Sector in Ipswich. I use an individual approach and make sure that each student realises their potential.

English as a second language (ESOL), preparation for Skills for Life exams, from Entry Level 1 to Level 2, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

General Russian. I do not prepare for qualifications but can provide conversational practice, discuss Russian literature with intermediate and advanced students and have Home Reading lessons. I have worked at University and on the radio and have got an excellent distinct pronunciation and can help you with yours. As a professional columnist working at a prominent resource, I can give you a hand with writing.

Interpreter/translator. I have worked as an interpreter/translator in various environments including GP surgeries, police station, Immigration Advisory Services and Job centres. My translations were shortlisted as the most sensible.
Tell me about your qualifications.

Tell me about some of your current students.
I am delighted that I left happy memories and some of my former students have asked me to teach them privately. Two ladies from Eastern Europe are serious about their career opportunities and are working hard on their English. Their speaking and listening skills being good, they want much more than the basics. At the moment English Grammar is at the centre of their attention, and they are improving their reading and writing skills.
Do you have a personal message for students?
If you like to achieve then I am a tutor for you. I can help you set some language goals and achieve them. Being a non-native speaker gives me an advantage because I know what you are going through. I understand why you find English Tenses and Articles difficult, and I can help you on the way to better English. Letters from GPs, your job contract and terms and conditions of your letting agent can actually be understood without the help of your friend or Google Translator.
