B.Ed. and CLT (Chartered London Teacher)
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught for thirty six years, up to GCSE level. I have, therefore, extensive experience in teaching English Language and English Literature. My teaching has been rated as outstanding during several OFSTED inspections and I have a reputation for helping students achieve their grades. Most of all, I really enjoy working with students.
How much do you charge?
£30 for KS2
£30 for KS3.
£30 for KS4.
Where do you teach?
I teach in students' homes. I am willing to travel to Enfield, Waltham Abbey, Cheshunt, Broxbourne, Cuffley, Turnford or Hoddesdon.
When are you available?
I am available during the day or most evenings, weekends and school holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach primary and secondary aged students from 7 -16 years old.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
up to GCSE and SATs, including KS2.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have a DBS Certificate dated from March 2015
Tell me about some of your current students.
I am currently supporting seven students through their GCSE English Language and English Literature which I find very enjoyable. I am also coaching a Y5 pupil for his entrance exams in September.
Do you have a personal message for students?
It is important for students to have confidence in themselves and I am able to instill this confidence through sensitive teaching and understanding the needs of each student.
