Singing makes you feel great! The connection with your breathing - your core - and making a wonderful noise is powerful stuff! I can help you feel more confident and find the joy in whatever kind of singing you want to do.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Singing of all genres. I believe that good technique is relevant for all styles of singing.
- I am a great believer in breath being the foundation of all good singing technique
- I have an understanding of many different techniques from Rib Reserve to Estill, Bel Canto to Speech Level Singing.
- I won't change your vocal personality but improved technique will allow to you do and express everything you want.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied Musical Theatre - Drama, Dance and Voice - at Arts Educational.
I have worked for the past 30 years as a concert soloist and as a session singer - a lot of training has been 'on the job'.
What kind of experience do you have?
My teaching experience includes masterclasses around the world and workshops as well as one on one tuition.
We have a professional recording studio so teaching microphone and recording technique is an option and something I am passionate about.
As concert soloist I have performed around the world including in such iconic venues as Carnegie Hall, New York and The Royal Albert Hall, London.
I have recorded many CDs of film, Broadway and pop songs.
As a session singer I've sung backing vocals on many CD recordings, TV shows and adverts and Hollywood movie soundtracks. (I am the voice of Autoglass - for which I apologise!)
