I'm a fully qualified Primary School teacher with 10 years experience. I love to teach. I spend time carefully preparing lessons to suit students needs. My methods are up to date, fun and engaging.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach all primary school subjects up to the age of 11years, particulaly English and Maths, which I enjoy immensely. I have helped many children to improve their skills, and move up in level, consistantly increasing confidence. I know what is needed to pass the 11+ and I have had great results.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Bachelor of Education degree. I am also a master practitioner in NLP, the study of excellent behaviour. I have a lot of experience in different learning techniques, as I have been able to observe many different teaching and classroom practises when I was a classroom assistant. I have over 28 years of working with children from the ages of four to sixteen. I have passed many courses on children with special educational needs, as well as my experience with learning difficulties, which makes me a very understanding teacher, who can adapt to individual childrens learning needs.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have 28 years of expereince working with children, ten years of which was as a Primary school teacher. I also specialize in teaching pupils with special educational needs. I have been a classroom assistant in both a primary and secondary schools. This has meant I have been privileged to see best practises and many different teaching styles. So I am able to adapt quickly to each individual pupil and their needs.
How much do you charge?
I am very willing to travil and charge £26 an hour, but I do have consessions for more than one pupil at a time or for reduced time periods. All fees can be negotiated.
Where do you teach?
I teach at to your home or mine, which is in Coventry. I am near Leamington Spa, Solihul, Fillongly and Warwick.
When are you available?
I am available during the day and evenings, Monday to Friday. I am keen to help those parents who are home teaching, as I am available during the day and have a great deal of experience with teaching tricky subjects or tricky students! I am also very organised and can help you to manage your time, helping to keep any concerns you may have about covering subjent matter to a minimum.

I also work after school till seven during the week.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach children from 4 to 11 years old. I Teach the 11+ and also those who are struggling with the basics. I have personal experience with special educational needs and I am aware of many different educational challenges, for example A.D.H.D.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare my students for SAT's and the 11+. I also prepare them for challenges in the classroom, helping them to succeed in lessons and build confidence.

Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the University of Hertfordshire.
Tell me about some of your current students.
At the moment I have eleven students aged from 4 years old to 11 years old. I am preparing for the 11+ and teaching the first steps in reading. I currently have one place available, Tuesday after school. I love what I do and all my students enjoy and are engaged in their sessions. I always give homework that supports their learning and builds confidence. They are all makeing great progress, which I record. I deliver a report to parents every ten weeks and keep detailed records.

I am a fun, active and enthusiastic tutor who is able to bring out the best in you. I always listen to your concerns and work with you to make progress without the stress. I ensure you feel good about your work and the progress you make. We work together to find the best way for you to learn and I will always listen to any concerns you have. When I teach, I teach with you and will build your confidence.

Most of all I want you to look forward to my lessons. So I build work up slowly and homework is always confidence building.
