What kind of experience do you have?
I have helped several students excel in exams and also gain confidence in their learning overall. I am committed to seeing all my students succeed and shine with the achievement of having done so. I provide regular feedback on student progress to parents throughout tuition and a learning plan is put in place from the initial lesson and first meeting.

I have a number of parent testimonials on my website and have extensive experience in online tuition.
How much do you charge?
Both in person and online tuition starts from £35 p/h.
Where do you teach?
I teach at student homes and hold 11+ mock exams in Exeter.
I currently travel to Topsham, Crediton, Broadclyst and Whitestone.

I also tutor online 3 days a week.

Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I am DBS checked and am also fully insured.
Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I tutor online from my office via Skype. As with all my lessons, I provide all course materials and these are sent across digitally prior to the start of the lesson.

If geographically possible, I always meet parents and students in person before online tuition commences. I provide regular marking of work via email and set homework on the lessons' topics for the following week.

Having tutored several students online, many saw minimal difference to their learning outcomes and several families have mentioned how easy it is to organise.

In 2015, I qualified in Effective Online Tutoring from the University of Oxford. I have extensive experience in tutoring online and work with students from across the UK and further afield.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?

I have several students who are preparing for the 11 plus exam in September and also pupils sitting common entrance in January 2018.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Take confidence in your ability and don't give up on any subject which may seem initially challenging. Sometimes it may only take a different approach in transferring the subject knowledge that will make topics more understandable and most importantly enjoyable.
