I am an Economics teacher at a top 5 independent school. I love teaching and bringing out the very best in all my pupils, taking into account their individual needs and requirements.
I also prepare children for the 11+, including interviews.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
A' level Economics, IB Economics, 11+ (Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning) :
I help students who are retaking their Economics A'level, as well as those taking their exams for the first time. Strong at exam and revision techniques, experience with SEN, and can help students applying for University places for Economics or Economics-related courses with application assistance and interview practice.
I also tutor for 11+ exams, and can improve candidates' scores across the board (Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and MSc in Economics from the University of London (Birkbeck College). I have many years of experience as a professional economist working for large investment banks in the City. I am a mother of three boys so I have lots of first-hand experience with children of all ages!
- How much do you charge?
£80/hr.
- Where do you teach?
I usually teach at my student's homes. But I can also teach from my home if that is easier.
- When are you available?
Evenings: Tues, Weds, Thurs, Saturday (available from 5.30pm to 9pm).
Afternoons: Saturday or Sunday (available from 11am to 6pm).
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Y12 and Y13 A'level, AS level, IB, 11+.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for Economics A level, AS level and Economics IB. Also for University interviews for Economics (or Econ related) courses.
