About Natalia
- What kind of experience do you have?
Teaching experience:
I have been teaching individual students of all levels and ages for the past 4 years. All of my students come from different music background: jazz, pop, r&b, gospel, rock, classical, latin and choir singing. I also worked with students who have no previous experience, introducing them to singing and basics of music theory. Recently I started working with singers who wish to accompany themselves on piano, teaching them the art of self-accompaniment.
I am also an experienced group teacher. I have been leading few vocal groups in England, as well as other parts of Europe, and organising end of year concerts for the students.
Furthermore, I work as a vocal therapist with various school teachers around London to help them maintain healthy voice necessary for their everyday work.
Due to such variety in different issues when dealing with the voice instrument, I always keep an open mind to specific needs of an individual and have variety of exercises to help address the vocal limitations.
Professional experience:
I am a highly experience singer, pianist and a songwriter. I have been playing piano and taking vocal lessons since age of 7. For the past 8 years I have been performing on various stages around Europe for numerous public and private events. I also have been working as a session singer, recording and performing for top pop and r&b groups and soloists. I am also experienced in band leading, band management and production for my own projects.
Furthermore, for the past 4 years I also have been working as an arranger and a composer for various projects around London, collaborating with various crossover artists.

I cannot speak highly enough of Natalia as singing teacher. She is extremely personable and teaches with unfailing good humour. Her infectious enthusiasm lays the ground for gently pushing beyond old assumed boundaries into areas of achievement previously undreamt of for fear of failure. Her attention to vocal technique, demonstration with her own fine voice and great facility on the piano complete the package.
She clearly loves the challenge of teaching, and makes serious achievement real fun.Natalia has helped me develop from singing for fun to learning breathing support, vocal technique and improvisation. Singing solo in front of the class she teaches has encouraged me to learn new songs and be able to perform, and not just sing. Natalia's enthusiastic approach makes the class good fun.
I have studied with Natalia Kawka for over 6 months and have found her to to be an excellent teacher. Very conscientious and totally reliable. She has a very deep technical knowledge in music and is a first class pianist with a beautiful voice. Would be a credit to any establishment.
Natalia Kawka is a teacher of our weekly jazz singing class. She is a very professional, conscientious person. She has taught us singing techniques and exercises as well as how to deliver a song and put it across to an audience. Her piano playing and accompaniment to songs is excellent. She is also a very talented singer Since studying with Natalia, my voice is stronger, my technique has improved and I have gained confidence. She is a friendly encouraging person and I greatly enjoy working with her.
Natalia is so passionate about music. Her love for it is evident in her energetic teaching techniques.and her enthusiasm is infectious! She puts the very best effort both in class, and also outside class time, with emails/updates.
Natalia also addresses many areas, including performance techniques and these have been very helpful.
I always look very much forward to Natalia's singing class and it has brought lots of joy into my life.View more recommendations
