What kind of experience do you have?
16 years teaching Physics and Science in a state school in Oxfordshire. Head of Physics for 8 years. Experienced in one-to-one tutoring in A Level Physics (range of syllabuses), GCSE Physics, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Science, GCSE Maths, and KS3 Science and Maths. I have also taught the Mechanics and some Core Maths topics for A Level Maths.
Previous background in industrial R&D.
How much do you charge?
A Level: £35 per hour (plus travel costs if teaching at student's premises)
GCSE and KS3: £30 per hour
Where do you teach?
Primarily at home in Wantage, but I will travel to students' homes if within about a fifteen mile radius in Oxfordshire or Berkshire. Locations I would travel to include Abingdon, Didcot, Newbury, Oxford.
When are you available?
Available every day, including weekends. Evening availability until 8.30pm.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I specialise mainly in A Level, but am experienced in teaching GCSE and KS3 and am willing to teach at these levels

I aim to achieve the maximum possible exam results for my students, paying close attention to the requirements of the syllabus, emphasising exam practice, and tailoring my tutoring approach to the needs and learning styles of each individual student.
