I have over twenty years experience in teaching the piano. Teaching from a purpose built studio, all styles are introduced.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach classical, jazz and pop piano. I also teach music theory and use a variety of books that are suitable for each pupil and can work at his/her pace and make the lesson as enjoyable as possible.

Grade 8 Piano (Distinction) and music theory qualifications.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have lived in Spain for a number of years, along with my partner who is also a piano teacher and professional musician. We have been playing all types of music in restaurants and theatres as part of a duo, trio, and six-piece trad band and also a sixteen-piece big band. We recently moved back to the UK to continue to teach the piano. My experience also includes: accompanist for choral groups and special theatre concerts and entering pupils for exams in Spain and the UK.
How much do you charge?
I charge £30 per hour, £15 per half-hour lesson.
Where do you teach?
I teach from home in a purpose built studio in Crayford, Dartford, Kent.
When are you available?
Monday-Friday: 10:00 am-8:00 pm
Saturday : 10:00 am-6:00 pm
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities.The youngest pupil is age 5 and the oldest was 89 years old! and he always practiced well and listened to me.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes, I have a recent DBS certificate.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of The European Piano Teachers' Association.
