Personal Message
Welcome Everyone, I am a concert pianist and enthusiastic teacher. Piano playing is my passion and I love to share my musical skills and knowledge with others. I believe that music has a great power to enrich our lives and everyone deserves it.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach classical piano and music theory at all levels. During piano lessons I work with a student on development of piano technique and musicianship as well as on his/her aural skills, harmony, sight-reading, analysis and elements of improvisation.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I started playing piano at age of six. After 12 years of studying I have received a diploma at the Chopin State Music school in Warsaw ( with distinction ) . I am currently doing Fellowship programme in piano performance studying with Ronan O`Hora at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. in 2017 I completed my Master degree with first class honours. I have won prizes at international competitions in UK and Poland. I have been participating in many Masterclasses and piano courses over the years. Most recently I attended Aspen Music Festival and School in Colorado.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching piano privately both in Poland and UK for 10 years. I also worked with other instrumentalists and singers as a piano accompanist ( coaching ).
References are available.
Also I am an active performer and I have been recently performing solo and chamber music concerts in wonderful concert halls including Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall,Purcell Room as well as during many international music festivals worldwide.
How much do you charge?
I charge ‎£40 pounds per hour for a lesson at my place. It is also possible to adjust the time for student's individual needs in which case the price is negotiable. There is a ‎£5 pounds fee if I have to travel to student's home.
Where do you teach?
I usually teach at my apartment which is near Essex Road station. I have a nice Kawai upright piano. Occasionally I can organise a lesson at the music room with better piano around Barbican area. I am also happy to teach at students' homes.
When are you available?
My schedule is really flexible. Practically all days and times are possible to suit your needs.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Music is for everyone and I feel comfortable teaching both children and adults. All levels are very welcome.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I always work with students towards their individual needs. I can prepare them for all exams including ABRSM and Trinity College exams (all grades), entry auditions for college or school, concerts and other performances or just improve their piano skills.
