Tell me about some of your current students.
One of my younger students (6) is playing nursery rhymes and film music, and gained a gold medal in the Ramsbottom Music Festival this year.
A teenage student passed Grade 5 piano and theory with distinction this year, and is working towards an application to study music at Oxford University.
An adult student is playing for leisure and is not taking exams, but working at a pace that suits her work-life balance.
Two international students are working towards the ARSM diploma and music college auditions, and two professional teachers have qualified their teaching by achieving Grade this year.
Do you have a personal message for students?
After having taught the piano for over a dozen years, I only recently came to the realisation that I am the third generation of teachers in my family - it must be in the blood! I look forward to helping you to work out manageable and achievable goals, depending on where you are in your learning and what you would like to achieve.
