Do you have a personal message for students?
I teach piano, keyboard and music theory for both students wishing to take exams, and those who want to learn just for fun. I believe that playing an instrument should be an enjoyable experience for students, and aim to make the lesson fun and varied, tailored to the students goals and interests. I teach children as young as four years old so it is important to me that they have fun whilst learning.

I have a flexible approach to teaching, using a variety of methods to suit each student. I can prepare students for both practical exams and theory exams, or music of the student's own choice. I am happy to teach a variety of genres such as classical or pop music. My aim is not only to teach the student to play the instrument but to help them to become a skilled musician in general by helping them to develop their musical knowledge and listening skills.

I teach from home in a relaxed but professional environment. The first lesson is free so you are welcome to come for a trial lesson to meet me and find out more about learning piano.
