Personal Message
My main goal as a teacher is to motivate my pupils in a relaxed but focused environment and guide them in developing their own musical style. Anybody is welcome, whatever age or ability.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Violin, Piano, Recorder and Theory as well as French, Italian and academic music.
Tell me about your qualifications.
dipABRSM and LRSM diplomas in Violin, Grade 8 distinction in Recorder and piano. Completed courses at the Royal Academy of Music.
What kind of experience do you have?
In addition to teaching, I have much experience in performing both as a soloist and as part of a string quartet. I have played in venues such as the Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall Southbank, Beckley Chamber Music festival in Peasmarsh and at the Garden Court Barristers' Chambers of Lincoln's Inn. I also take part in cruises, recently returning from one which took me to Portugal and the Canaries where I performed as part of a string quartet in a recital.
How much do you charge?
I offer a free consultation lesson. My usual fee is £30 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home and at students' homes. I am happy to travel out to Camden, Belsize Park, Golders Green, Mill Hill, Edgware, Swiss Cottage, Kings Cross, Edgware, Mill Hill, , East Finchley, Finchley Central, Highgate, Archway and Central London.
When are you available?
I am available during weekdays/evenings and also the weekend. I am also available during school holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students of all ages and ability levels.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM Grades
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Where and with whom did you train?
Musicians I have been fortunate enough to have studied with include Igor Petrushevski, Matthew Souter, Maciej Rakowski and Yumi Sasaki.

I believe that the key ingredient to playing music is having fun and enjoying it!
