Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a trained Spanish Teacher at Primary level. First qualification to teach Spanish and English to
11-14 year old children.
Bachelor of Arts degree, University of Auckland, New Zealand
Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics, University of Waikato, New Zealand
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching for 30 years in Spain, New Zealand and now in London
I have taught English to Spanish children and Spanish to adults in Higher Education and Adult Education
I now teach Spanish mostly on a one-to-one basis, small groups
How much do you charge?
£35 per hour on an private one-to-one basis
There is a reduction for more frequent classes
A single fee will be negotiated for group lessons
I charge for transport outside zone 2
Where do you teach?
I teach at home as well as at students' offices and homes
When are you available?
I am available most days Monday to Saturday.
I also teach some evenings
I do early mornings dependent on location

Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a 12 year old student preparing for GCSE Spanish
I'm preparing a 13 year old girl to sit the International GCSE
I have a gentleman in his early 50's who is already fluent and wants to keep up his command of the language and go through all verb tenses & expand vocabulary
I also have a complete beginner and a pre-intermediate
I'm teaching a mature student who plans to retire in Latinamerica
Do you have a personal message for students?
Studying a language opens so many doors and it's such a rewarding experience.
Studying Spanish means you have access to 450 million speakers!!
