Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students are of various ages (10- 87!). Some of them like to do exams and others simply enjoy playing for pleasure. I encourage them to join music groups and do informal concerts, which many of them do. There are those who prefer classical and those who like jazz, blues and popular material.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Don't be afraid if you're a beginner. I'm very approachable and treat everyone as an individual. Playing music is of course beneficial to children's development but also equally worthwhile for adults as an escape from stressful jobs and busy routines. I look forward to hearing from you, Richard.
