What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching private pupils for 9 years and I currently teach both children and adult pupils. I have had the opportunity in teaching all abilities and all ages.
I have successfully entered many students for ABRSM exams with good results as well as preparing them for entry to local orchestras.
How much do you charge?
The hourly rate is £40 but I also offer the option of half-hour and forty five minutes lessons.
Where do you teach?
I usually prefer to teach at my house, however going to private homes is negotiable.
When are you available?
After school and weekends are the best, although I have a flexible timetable.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and abilities ( up to grade 8 and diploma level) from beginners to advanced players
I have had experience teaching young children and adult students.

Yes. I have several up to date CRB certificates.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Sarah Manship was a scholar on the orchestral postgraduate course at the Royal College of Music and studied with Sue Thomas and Stuart McIlwham. She graduated from TrinityLaban with 1st class honours in 2011 where she studied with Anna Noakes and Margaret Campbell. An award-winning instrumentalist, Sarah has won The Worshipful Company of Musicians - Allcard Award 2011 and AHRB Scholarship for postgraduate study.

As a performer, Sarah works as a soloist, orchestral, chamber and pit musician. Sarah regularly freelances with orchestras including the Bath Philharmonia, New London Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, British Philharmonic Orchestra (Andrea Bocelli UK arena tour 2012) and The National Concert Orchestra Of Great Britain. Commercially, Sarah has recorded and performed with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Russell Watson to name a few. She is also a member of the all-female flute ensemble Northern Quarter Flutes, performing at events around Europe, including an appearance at the Opera Garnier in Paris for the Princess of Tunisia and the Prince of Saudi Arabia.

Sarah is currently playing in 'Half a Sixpence' which is showing at Noel Coward Theatre, West End. She played in Miss Saigon at The Prince Edward Theatre in the West End 2014-2016 and previously played in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Stephen Ward' at the Aldwych Theatre, London 2013-2014. In 2011-2012 she was touring in theatres around the UK in Cameron Mackintosh’s 25th Anniversary production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera’. Sarah has also been a deputy on Disney's 'Lion King' UK tour (2011-2015) and Wicked! UK Tour (2013-2015).
Where and with whom did you train?
2007-2011 - Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she studied with flute teacher Anna Noakes, second study with Margaret Campbell and piccolo with Alan Baker.

2011-2012 scholar at Royal College of Music, under the tutelage of Sue Thomas and piccolo with Stewart McLwham and Kathleen Stevenson.
