Hello! I'm a young, enthusiastic saxophonist/clarinetist and composer from a classical and jazz background who's ready to teach any musical skills you want to throw at me.

Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a bachelors degree from Grinnell College in Music where I focused in composition and classical voice.
My Masters degree is from the Royal Academy of Music where I studied composition and worked for the recording department making classical and jazz recordings as well as doing video production work.
What kind of experience do you have?
I come mainly from a jazz teaching background working with combos and individuals learning improvisation. I've also taught musicianship, music theory, and saxophone and clarinet.
How much do you charge?
£20 for a half hour lesson
£35 for an hour lesson

After an initial consultation lesson parents and I will come up with a contract to plan out lessons in blocks of 5-6 weeks.
Where do you teach?
I can teach theory, and composition from my home in Crouch End, and I'm willing to travel all over Harringey, Crouch End, Hackney, Muswell Hill, East Finchley, and other parts of North and North East London.
When are you available?
I'm mainly available during the week in the afternoons and evenings, but I'm very flexible on weekends as well. I work freelance so I can work around your schedule!
Which ages and levels do you teach?
For saxophone, clarinet, and singing I'm able to teach from early years to late secondary school with a focus on beginners and intermediate performance.
I'm able to teach all ages music theory, composition, and musicianship.

I studied Saxophone with Bobby Streng and Donald Sinta in Ann Arbor MI
I studied voice with John Rommereim, Patrizia Zenardi and Andrew Whitcomb in Grinnell, IA, Milan, Italy, and Ann Arbor, MI
I studied Composition with John Rommereim, Eric McIntyre, Roberto Andreoni, David Sawer, Peter Maxwell Davies, and Oliver Knussen in Grinnell, IA, Milan Italy, and London.
