MUSIC EXPERIENCE:

I currently teach piano through the Richmond Music Trust and was a singing teacher for Kingston Music Service.

I have been teaching in various facilities for the past 2 years. I have experience teaching one-to-one (mainly privately) as well as small groups and I am a regular tutor for NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) rehearsals, leading a small group of 4-10 singers. (http://www.nyjo.org.uk/)
I have taught singing at MTA (Musical Theatre Academy) in Islington. (http://www.themta.co.uk/mtas-venue/).

As an active performing musician, I have released my debut album "Nice to Meet You" in March 2015 and have toured extensively in the UK and in Brazil.
I have also performed at Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Jazz Club as well as the Royal Festival Hall for the London Jazz Festival in 2008.

I am a former member of the London Vocal Project (http://www.londonvocalproject.com/), ensemble that has performed with major artists such as Bobby McFerrin and Kenny Wheeler as well as the samba percussion ensemble Rhythms of the City (http://rhythmsofthecity.com).

I am attentive towards every student's needs, aims and objectives, emphasising on dynamic, creative and playful learning.

The topics I teach for singing lessons are:

- Technique (allignment and sound production)

I can also teach basic use of Sibelius Software.

LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE:

I am bilingual with English and Italian and also have a strong knowledge in French, as this language is spoken in my family in Italy.

I have graduated with 100% mark at the Liceo I. Vian near Rome on a Scientific-Linguistic High School Baccalaureat, studying English, French and German.

I have been a freelance French to Italian translator for many private corporations and schools after gaining a high mark on the French DELF exam board. In 2003 I have won a bursary to study French in Cannes for the summer at the 'Ecole de Langue Française' (http://www.ecole-langue-france.com/cannes_azur.htm)

For languages I can prepare students for all types of exams including:

I am part of the Musicians Union
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at Trinity College of Music under Nia Lynn, Pete Churchill, Simon Purcell, Liam Noble, Julian Siegal and Martin Speake.

I was trained in French by Nadeje Parla at the Liceo I. Vian

I am a mother tongue with English and Italian, although have studied with Patrizia Bellesi and Patrizia Misuri respectively at the Liceo I. Vian.
Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students range from the age of 6 to the age of 50. Most of my students are interested in learning songs (repertoire) and vocal technique. I believe in learning mostly by ear although and through practical exercises "off the page".

Most of my language students are interested in correct pronunciation and being able to speak as fluently as possible, although some are preparing for exams that involve reading and writing.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Please contact me if you are interested in making progress through playful practice. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all ages and abilities and am looking forward to discovering much about your creativity and curiosities.
