Encouraging, fun and challenging lessons with us at The Hap'ning Place help you to find your musical voice.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
We teach Guitar, and also offer lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Flute, Clarinet, and singing.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
All our qualified and enthusiastic teachers have a degree in the instrument they are teaching.
- How much do you charge?
Piano, Violin, Viola, Clarinet, Flute, Piano, Guitar lessons are £29 for half hour and £49 per hour
- Where do you teach?
Lessons are available at our studio in London. Crouch End/Hornsey/ N8.
- When are you available?
Lesson times are available Monday to Saturday day times and evenings until 9pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages and levels of ability. We are able to prepare students to Diploma level in the Music Examinations, but we also have students who are enjoying making music as an activity without any particular goal in mind. We have students doing everything from Classical to contemporary
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
We have a 100% success rate preparing our students through to the diploma level in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Trinity, London College of Music and Rock Skool examinations.
We also coach singers preparing for West End auditions, University placement auditions, orchestra auditions, etc.

The Hap'ning Place has a great way of developing your confidence: from one-to-one lessons through group work and on to trying out your solo voice in the supportive mini studio recitals.
I find the lessons extremely uplifting and fun, and my range and breath control have improved considerably.
