I have a Bachelor of Music degree, at Department of Composition and Orchestral Conducting and I'm specialised in Rhytmic, which is a profession concentrates on how to teach music to all performing art students, usually by using the method of 'first perform, then analyze'. I am also a Musical Theatre graduate. I've completed postgraduate studies in Music Theory. I do also have a Master's degree in Jazz performance as a vocalist.
I have been training Krav Magen(K.A.M.I.-Self defense and combat method) for 4 years, now I keep on training in Krav Maga here in London. I have participated many seminars as a practicioner and as a part of the instructors team as well. I am currently holding a brown belt in Krav Magen.
I am a native Turkish speaker, born and raised in Istanbul.

Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach adults, teenagers and children as well. I am happy to teach every level from beginner to professional. And besides working as a lecturer for music students, I always loved to teach people who wanted to learn music as a hobby.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
My priority is teaching my students how to feel music. Depending on the level, I concentrate on understanding the theory of music.
For piano students: I teach them the fundamental techniques like, hand and finger positions, how to use the wrists, and the body.
For singing students: Understanding the right posture and breathing technique is the priority. After that I teach my students how to create a healthy voice and how to gain volume. Then for both singing and piano students, I combine all those with repertory work and interpretation. Especially for singing students, I also pay attention to acting through the song.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes I do.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Every level is welcome. Please feel free to ask any questions.
