About Christian
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have had a wide range of training since the age of 6 over many different vocal styles and with very different teachers. My basic training started with Classical Singing where I learnt the importance of breath control, dynamic exploration, vowel modification and I began to discover the effect of storytelling through song. I learnt how to access a safe sustainable belt and how to use 'mix' to carry a more weighted sound through the voice. I established how to use 'thin folds' to create a stronger more 'pop' sound to a voice. I'd like to highlight how important I believe it is for a pupil to find their own individual sound rooted in good technique. A persons voice is an extension of their personality and connected to their own feelings and emotions. I believe it is so important to understand what we are singing about or at least find a connection to understand.

Hello my name is Christian. I am based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and London. I have been teaching since 2009. I graduated from The Guildford School of Acting with a 1st class honours and have experience teach both privately and with large groups.

- How much do you charge?
£45 an hour.
(I am happy to travel however I will charge £10 if I have to come to you.)
- Where do you teach?
I currently live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. I am based between Yorkshire and London. I am a working professional and so have to attend auditions. It is important to stress that I require flexible working hours as I am a working professional however I will always give notice and re-arrange lessons.

Whether you want to improve your confidence, you just love singing or you want to be/are a professional performer. I have experience teaching both singing and acting. I am a songwriter so if that is a skill you would like to develop then let me know.
I am a very open and honest teacher. I am enthusiastic about getting the best from my students but in turn know that it is a growing process. Please get in touch with me if you are willing to have fun and enjoy yourself.
