Tell me about some of your current students.
My students range in ages and levels and all want to improve their technique and vocal range; be it to sing or to speak at professional performance level, to communicate more effectively in the work place or with colleagues, or just because they enjoy using their voices.
Do you have a personal message for students?
You need a safe, creative environment to work in whilst exploring your voice. I will learn as much from you as you do from me. That's a win win!

Change can be difficult and stressful but without it you cannot move forward. Instigating that change can be a surprisingly emotional journey as it is not just a technical exercise but a leap of faith. You cannot improve without putting in the work, being disciplined and being honest with yourself. It takes courage but you can change your destiny.

Whether you are using your voice in performance, public speaking or interacting with friends and colleagues, your voice will say a lot about you. It defines you and you will be judged by your voice every time you use it be that over the phone or in performance. If you cannot communicate effectively you cannot be understood.

It is not just about making a beautiful sound.

Bad posture, improper use of muscles and bad habits can set up a chain reaction that can prevent you from using your voice correctly and efficiently. This can be debilitating in performance and auditions and can have a dramatic effect on the way you perform and how your voice functions, especially under stress.
