I am an Irish operatic tenor with a passion for Italian Opera, singer-songwriters and football.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach singing at all levels providing a solid grounding in technique for all styles of singing and I also teach beginner guitar.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a Bachelor of Music with Hons and a Master of Music from the University of Ulster as well as an Advanced Diploma in Opera Studies from the Royal Academy of Music in London,

During my time at the Royal Academy of Music I held the Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Trust Scholarship and the Porter (Selleck) Foundation Award. I am also an alumna of the Georg Solti Accademia di Bel Canto and Les Azuriales, was a member of the Royal Academy Song Circle, a Countess of Munster Recital Scheme Artist and an Alvarez Young Artist, Garsington 2016 and was a finalist in Accademia Teatro alla Scala 2016, The Richard Lewis Competition 2014/15 and Les Azuriales 2014.
What kind of experience do you have?
I taught for a number of years in Ireland but I have honed my craft of technique from working with many teachers and coaches from the UK, USA, Italy and Belgium. This study has given me a strong grounding in healthy singing.
How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour.
Where do you teach?
I teach at home.
Nearby towns or areas are: Putney, Wimbledon, Southfields, Wandsworth.
When are you available?
I currently only have availability for Saturday mornings due to demand.

I teach all ages and levels.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
This can be discussed on an individual basis.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Currently no, but I am in the process of applying. I do have organisations that I have worked for with whom I was under an umbrella DBS Certificate for work in regular and SEN schools during a 3 week project of workshops and performances.

I devise my teaching plan on an individual basis so as to achieve the best outcome for each student.
