Personal Message
I am a very patient and dedicated French native speaker. I tailor my lessons to the students' needs and expectations.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach French as a Foreign Language and can also teach methodology (including essay writing) and primary school subjects to students following the French curriculum (such as CNED ̶ distance learning).
Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold a Master's Degree in Humanities with English (French DEA Lettres-Humanités-Civilisations) from the Université de Bourgogne, in Dijon, France.
I also have a university diploma to teach French as a Foreign Language (French Licence FLE).
I was accredited to administer DELF/DALF A1-C1, French official international proficiency tests (2009-2012).
What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a teacher for over 9 years and have a very diverse experience as I have been working in an Alliance française in Mexico, a language centre, two adult education centres and two tutoring agencies. My first teaching experience was as a language assistant in Preston, Lancashire.
I have had students ranging from 7 years old to 70+, from absolute beginners to advanced levels. I've given private and group classes and intensive courses (up to 7h a day) in schools as well as in companies. I have over 4500 teaching hours, including more than 3200 hours of private tuition (basically in French Literature, French and English as Foreign Languages; 2500 of which in the UK).

Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Not at the moment.
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained with the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon for the Master's Degree and the university diploma to teach French.
I was accredited to administer DELF/DALF A1-C1 through the Alliance française in Monterrey, Mexico (2009-2012).
Tell me about some of your current students.
Coming from France where I taught French Literature to a student preparing a diploma in Accounting, I have now been in London for four and a half years. I occasionally am in charge of groups of beginner students in a language school. At the moment, I give French private tuition (self-employed as well as through tutoring agencies) for the preparation of GCSE and IGCSE, DALF C1, CNED CE1 and CM2 (French school curriculum, distance learning) and university essay writing. I also tutor other students looking to learn or improve their French communication skills for personal reasons.
Do you have a personal message for students?
Whether you are a student taking GCSE or A levels in French and need confidence for your exam or you are a professional willing to have a proper conversation with your French colleagues or clients, or just want to enjoy your next holidays in a French-speaking country, whether on a daily basis or intensive classes, we will first talk about what YOU are looking for and how I will help you to achieve your language goals.
