Tell me about some of your current students.
My students are based all over the country. Some are at boarding schools and work with me in their free periods from their school dormitories or library. Some work with me after school from their homes. I also have students in Croatia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore, which means I am accustomed to working with students at unusual times of day!
I also work with local Milton Keynes Primary schools where I teach extra curricular Spanish to Primary children.

Demand for my A level tuition is quite high and I am selective about which students I will work with, as I have learned over the years that if a student is not fully onboard with the idea of having a Tutor, the tuition is less successful for the student in question.
Do you have a personal message for students?
There are no short cuts! if you want to be able to communicate well in Spanish, you have to know the grammar! Nevertheless, Spanish grammar is not as daunting as it looks, it is very logical and regular, you don't have to be a master linguist to "get it"!
What are my 3 golden rules for learning Spanish?
1. Learn the basics well - drilling grammar, learning the sounds phonetically and the repetition of new vocabulary will give your Spanish a much stronger foundation.
2. Learn to love the verbs! they are your friend when it comes to becoming proficient in Spanish
3. Have fun! Spanish native speakers are always helpful and encouraging of anyone making an effort to learn their beautiful language - so don't worry about making mistakes, Spanish native speakers will help you along!
