- Do you belong to any professional organisations?

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I regularly write pupil reports and receive feedback from parents and pupils alike. I believe it is a helpful way to evaluate current progress and to keep all parties informed. It is also an eye-opener to hear what a student has learned in a music lesson is applicable to English and Maths and that there are improvements in other subjects too! Some of my current pupils have commented how my lessons were fun and interesting. They also commented on my enthusiasm, dedication, and competence.
I was recently told how one of my students became addicted to the piano(!), while others have enjoyed my logical and practical approach that enables them to play their favourite pieces, and gaining both awareness and confidence in making music. But I must also say that every one of my students so far has been a joy to work with, and I thank the parents for their continued support in my work.

I believe each pupil is unique and presents unique challenges for me as a teacher and I enjoy very much working with and overcoming all sorts of musical problems we encounter together. I want to develop a lifelong love for music and piano playing in all of my pupils. Music is a happiness that you can bring to yourself and others, and it should first and foremost be that way. Contact me if you would like to discover and explore a world of music.

Since starting taking lesson from Thomas, the past two years have opened my eyes to the amazing world of music and have made it take up all my time. Not only did I ace my grade I also learnt how to look at music in a completely different way and changed the way I hear it.
As someone who never played an instrument before and who felt overwhelmed with where to begin, Thomas made the journey a fun yet challenging one. I was able to jump right into the action almost from the first lesson as Thomas began to explain the intricacies involved with learning the piano. During the year and a half since I had my first lesson there have been many moments where I felt that a piece was too challenging to approach, but Thomas through his excellent teaching methods was able to br
I have had lessons with Thomas for a couple of months. I am an adult learner who has been playing for two years. Each lesson I learn something new, my playing has come on a lot in a short space of time. He is very observant and will quickly identify, then work on your weaknesses. I would recommend Thomas if you are looking for a teacher with the patience and imagination to improve your playing.
If you need a piano teacher this is your guy! When I was in my mid-teens I had piano lessons for a couple of years then stopped; I'm now in my mid 50's and always loved the piano and tried to play the odd easy piano piece here and there throughout my life. I've been having lessons from Thomas for only a couple of months and my playing has come on leaps and bounds. Before Thomas, when I tried to play anything, I found it frustrating, fingers everywhere they shouldn't be, my playing sounded me
Great teacher, patient, and puts me at ease especially as a nervous beginner. His approach to teaching works for me and he's extremely knowledgeable and supportive in his manner.
