- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a part time teacher in a primary school where I am responsible for different aspects of the music curriculum and teach a variety of brass instruments, recorder and piano to over 50 children.

Hi, I'm Maddie Dowdeswell. I am a professional freelance trombonist and teacher, with experience in all genres.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach trombone (jazz and classical) up to diploma standard and all brass instruments, piano, aural tests and theory up to grade 5.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a BMus Hons in Jazz Trombone. Prior to this, I have studied classical trombone from the age of 5, learning from the top trombonists in the country such as, Alan Hutt, Katy Jones (Principal of Halle) and Gordon Campbell.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30/hour for lessons in North West London. For anywhere else in London I will charge £35/hour.
- Where do you teach?
I live in North west London but I can travel within London.
- When are you available?
I am available on week days and weekends, apart from Saturday mornings.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages. I will teach trombone up to diploma standard. For piano, aural, theory and other brass instruments I teach up to grade 5.
