There is no 'one size fits all' approach to teaching. Each and every student learns in a different way at a different pace. I teach in a way that make lessons fun, engaging, builds self-confidence levels and inspire the students to learn and discover.

I have a wealth of experience in teaching children and young people from the age of four to eighteen in individual lessons, group lessons and workshop settings across Central and Greater London boroughs. I have worked with children and young people from under-represented backgrounds, children and young people with challenging behaviour, additional needs students (particularly autistic students) and children and young people with physical and mental illness in Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

I have also led specialist workshops in schools and communities in New Orleans Style Brass Bands, samba, soca, salsa, afrobeat and traditional West African music such as Yoruba music and have taught group Musicianship classes in rhythm and harmony through use of the Kodaly method. I have also been responsible for the running and teaching of extra curricular group ensembles such as orchestras, brass bands and choirs.
