Here's some of my students' feedback:

"Fantastic guy really friendly and funny, puts you at ease, really good at teaching my daughter the guitar, he sends her music to practice via her tablet so she knows what she will be doing before her lesson. Would highly recommend Dave." Marcia G. Bolsover. 5* rating

"Dave is a great guitar teacher, his lessons are clear and well thought out - top bloke!!" - David W. Ashgate. 5* rating

"Dave has been teaching our family for a while now and has even gone as far as to repair and fix a half size electric guitar for my youngest. it works better than it ever did and charge was reasonable. ive really enjoyed our lessons. Dave has the equipment to teach in an inovating way that helps you feel youve acheived something but helps you feel relaxed at ease and have fun. we have learnt as a family and thoroughly enjoy our lessons. thank you Dave. you make it feel much easier." - Ann T. Chesterfield 5* rating

"I picked up the guitar again when I retired last year and have become totally addicted to it. In Dave I have found the perfect teacher, unlike so many teachers he does not take weeks teaching you one tune. He teaches you how to play guitar so you can learn your own tunes, he involves all aspects of music in every lesson. Rather than send you away trying to remember what you learned he sends you away with every detail of what you learned on line. Thank you Dave I'm sure we will have a long and fruitful journey together as I feed my guitar addiction." - Nigel D. North Wingfield. 5* rating

"What can I say? Mmmmm Dave's ok I suppose. No on a serious note !! (get it?) Dave is a top bloke and a top teacher, made me feel relaxed and felt like I'd known him for years.
Can't recommend him enough, I hope to stick with my lessons. Cheers Dave. " Chris B. Hasland. 5* rating

"Had my first lesson today and i'm a beginner wanting to learn acoustic guitar and I would highly recomend dave hes a excerlent teacher for what I have learned within in half an hour as made me feel at ease with learning the guitar will carry on for lessons thank you" - Natalie H. Ripley. 5* rating

"I cannot recommend Dave enough, he is an excellent teacher who is able to make music theory simple. I have been playing guitar for 20+ years now and was stuck in a rut of playing the same old thing over and over, however after having 5 lessons with Dave he has opened up the fret board for me like no other teacher has been able to!

The lessons are on a private one to one basis and these are customised to suit your needs and requests from being an absolute beginner to people who have been playing (like me) for a number of years.

"Thoroughly recommended!" - John P. Chesterfield. 5* rating

"Dave has a really easy style and gears the pace well. He sets up your homework so you can practice and gradually get to full pace with the songs. Good mix of styles too." - Paul H. Belper. 5* rating

"Dave is a great guy, a skilful and sympathetic guitar tutor and knows what's what in a recording studio / environment..........He also knows a thing or to about all types of guitar and recording and oh yes he's a pretty good teacher too!" - Chris C. Walton. 5* rating

"My daughter has Dave for guitar lessons at home and he's excellent with her. She enjoys his lessons and he's a good teacher" - Sarah S. Fullwood, Sheffield. 5* rating

"Dave is an amazing teacher, he is teaching my son (8 years old) since a few weeks. He is really good with kids. My son loves him and he is getting on very well!! Thanks Dave!" - Isabelle M. Clipston Village. 5* rating

"Fantastic teacher of music his way is the best way I never thought I would be able to play the guitar but David proved me wrong FABULOUS 5 stars ain't enough x" - Debbie B. Matlock. 5* rating
Do you have a personal message for students?
I am able to provide you with the loan of electric or acoustic guitars for the lesson if you don't have one available. I will also help you chose one that's right for you if you're not experience in this area.

At the end of each lesson you will receive handouts, a recorded summary and any backing tracks you need to help you practice. Students are encouraged from the start to learn by playing along to backing tracks, to develop a sense of timing and rhythm which can very often be a failing of practicing alone.

You can also record your work on professional recording equipment and make your own CD's
