I am a young and vibrant musician who loves to teach and help inspire keen students.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
Viola, Violin, Chamber Music and Music Theory
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a freelance violist playing for orchestras in London. Last year I was a member of the Southbank Sinfonia orchestra in London having graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a Masters Degree in solo performance in 2012 and a Bachelor of Music in 2010.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have many years experience with teaching having taught on international chamber music and solo academy courses such as Pro Corda; teaching for the Yorkshire Young Musicians; at Wandsworth School's Music Service; and at The City Academy, Hackney. As a performer I have played with leading orchestras in the UK such as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the Welsh National Opera Orchestra.
How much do you charge?
My fee is £30 for half an hour, £35 for 45 minutes or £40 per hour for viola and violin.

I am happy to travel to you for a small travel fee, depending on distance and area.
Where do you teach?
I live in Belvedere in South East London and would be willing to travel to pupil's houses to teach.
When are you available?
I am very flexible with times so please contact me for availability and I would be happy to arrange lessons on a weekly basis. Alternatively I am happy to have a set weekly time if that is better. I am usually around during school holidays so am happy to continue teaching pupils during these school breaks if pupils are also around.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
Any ages and any standards welcome. Weather it be a new instrument you are taking up, or have decided to pursue a career in music, I would always be happy to help!
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I have previously prepared students for ABRSM Grade exams, but am happy to look into any of the similar exam boards depending on the pupils strengths.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have up to date CRB checks with the music services I am currently working for.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
The Southbank Sinfonia
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied for both my BMus(Hons) and my MMus at the Royal Northern College of Music with DR Louise Lansdown. I have also taken part in many masterclasses with world renowned violists such as Nabuko Imai, Thomas Riebl, Simon Rowland-Jones, Garfield Jackson, Tatjana Muserenko, Marco Van Pagee, Garth Knox and many more.

My time with Southbank Sinfonia has lead to me working with orchestra members from groups such as the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Royal Opera House and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students range from ages 6 - 30. They are all varying standards and a mixture of both violin and viola students.
