I am a patient, passionate, and experienced violin, viola and music theory teacher, and a freelance viola player based in London.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching violin and viola to school aged children (age 4 -18) since 2010. I currently teach at the Questor's Young Musicians Saturday music school in Ealing and have several private students. I am always preparing students for ABRSM exams and have prepared students for youth orchestra auditions in which some have achieved principal places. In addition to teaching, I also currently practise with two students who study the Suzuki method. I also teach Music Theory.
How much do you charge?
I charge £40 an hour for violin, viola and music theory lessons. I typically do not charge extra for travel.
Where do you teach?
I teach at my home or at my student's home. I can teach in St. John's Wood, Marylebone, Hampstead, Baker Street, Highgate, Kentish Town, Belsize Park, South Kensington, Victoria, Finchley Road, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Swiss Cottage, Islington, Angel, Finsbury Park, Mayfair, Westminster, City of London.
I am willing to travel up to 30 minutes for one student. I could travel longer if its for more than one student.
When are you available?
I am available every day of the week and also teach during school holidays.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students from ages 5 - 85.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity/Guidhall Exams in violin, viola and music theory. I can also help students with youth orchestra auditions.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

I have a computer with FaceTime and Skype for teaching music theory.
Where and with whom did you train?
I studied with Martin Outram at the Royal Academy of Music and Ian Jewel at the Royal College of Music. I was also a member of Southbank Sinfonia 2017, an orchestral fellowship.
Do you have a personal message for students?
For me, playing violin and viola should feel as natural as possible and I try to help my students achieve this in the way I feel is best for them. My aim is to help students find the joy in learning an instrument and look forward to their lesson each week!
