I am a freelance jazz and classical guitarist living in North London. As a recent award-winning graduate of The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, I have over 15 years playing experience and 6 years teaching experience.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Jazz Guitar, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, Folk Guitar.
I also tutor for GCSE Music, Higher Music, A-Level Music, University Music, Jazz Improvisation, Music Theory Exams, Musicianship.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I graduated from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama's 4 year BMUS HONS undergraduate jazz programme in 2015. During my time at the Guildhall, I completed both the Professional Studies and Teaching Skill's modules, as well running and participating in workshops for schools both at Primary and Secondary level. Whilst there I was awarded the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors' jazz award as well as the Yamaha Jazz Scholar award. At school I did both A-level Music and Music Technology, achieving two A grades, as well completing my grade 8 classical guitar with distinction.
What kind of experience do you have?
I am a dedicated and patient teacher with over 6 years experience, predominantly teaching one to one lessons (of all ages and abilities), but also including leading workshops at both Primary and Secondary level whilst living in London. I have successfully entered students in for ABRSM graded performance and theory exams as well as having experience tutoring students towards GCSE and A level written and practical exams.

As well as teaching experience, I have an extensive performance C.V and have been fortunate enough to perform in many of the U.K's most prestigious venues over the years, including:

The Royal Albert Hall
Royal Festival Hall
Queen Elizabeth Hall
The Barbican Center
Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club

as well as performing internationally in Holland, Finland, France and Morocco.
