I am a qualified teacher and experienced tutor with a background in psychotherapy and counselling. I have a track record of delivering excellent results, and improving the confidence and self-esteem of my students.
Which subject(s) do you teach?
At Newman Tuition we teach all school-based subjects at all levels.

Personally, I teach:
Maths and English at KS1, KS2, 7+ and 11+.
Maths at 13+, KS3, and GCSE.

While attaining top grades is important in today’s highly competitive world, it is my belief that tutoring should be about much more than that. I place a high value on building the confidence and self-esteem of my students, and on promoting inquisitive and independent thinking across all areas of life.

What kind of experience do you have?
I am a qualified teacher and a highly experienced tutor. I have helped hundreds of students improve significantly in maths and English, achieve high GCSE grades, and gain entry to London's top schools.

I am Director of Newman Tuition, a network of qualified tutors offering a bespoke tutoring service across all age-ranges and subjects, including school entrance examinations, revision strategies and exam techniques.

I taught at Mathilda Marks-Kennedy School, and am currently a teaching consultant at Kingsbury Green Primary School.

I also teach English as a Foreign Language to groups of international students.
How much do you charge?
A Newman Tuition tutor costs £45 up-to-and-including GCSE, and £50 for A-Level. Newman Tuition is a network of excellent tutors covering all age-ranges and school-based subjects. Please feel free to message me for further details.

Personally, I tutor English KS2 and maths up-to-and-including GCSE. My set rate for tuition is £70 per hour. This reflects my expertise, experience and the high success rate of my students.

Where do you teach?
At students' homes in London.
When are you available?
I am available for private tuition from 10am to 9pm Mondays to Thursday and Fridays 10am to 6pm. I am also available for block bookings of tuition during school holidays and summer holidays.

Newman Tuition tutors will come to your home during the week and on the weekend.

Tell me about some of your current students.
Recently got several Year 6 students into highly selective secondary schools (some with scholarships).

Working with students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 to improve their maths and English.

Working with students in Year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 to prepare them for their maths GCSE.
