Every student has a programme that is built just for them. They concentrate on getting to grips with topics that they are covering in school whilst also working on a parallel thread that is put together to fill any gaps that may exist in their core skills.
* The MagiKats programme supports the National Curriculum.
* More than tutor 'hot-housing' and more than learning by rote.
* Classes are held all year round.
* MagiKats weekly workshops provide an instant boost.
* Core work (usually completed at home) provides steady consolidation.
* Students use a variety of hands-on resources to enhance their understanding.
* MagiKats’ students use a multi-sensory approach to learning.
* KidiKats Programme (ages 3–5) is a combined Numeracy and Literacy programme.
* Special support available for SATS, GCSE revision, 11+ and common entrance.
* Summer booster programmes are also available.

The Hove centre is run by sisters, Sarah and Holly Bell. Sarah: “After graduating from Brighton University, I worked for MagiKats for the Franchise owners. I loved working for a business that was making such a clear improvement to the education of local children. Moving back to Hove, I began to tutor privately. I was very successful and had students on a waiting list, but there was just so many times I wished I could get my hands on the MagiKats resources and worksheets! This led to me opening my own centre in Hove. I am so excited and confident in the programme we can provide for your children, one that I have seen work for so many others”. Holly: “I have been a primary school teacher for four years, and thoroughly enjoy supporting children in their educational development. I am very aware of the demands in a classroom and how some children just need that bit of extra support to help them reach their full potential. I was Head of Literacy at my last school and focused heavily on phonics, reading and writing. I set up lots of small group work within classes and realised how important this was for the children to really develop their skills; this is the main principle of MagiKats. From a teacher’s perspective, MagiKats is a unique tutoring program that really supports children with what they are covering in school. Students are able to catch up, get ahead and achieve their best at school”.
