I am a passionate clarinettist with the primary aim of inspiring students of all standards and ages.

BMus (First Class Honours) - Royal Academy of Music

What kind of experience do you have?
I was a key member of the outreach team whilst at school, participating in workshops on various tours to Norfolk and Cornwall. Alongside my studies at the Royal Academy of Music, I have been teaching the clarinet privately in London, working with students aged from 11 to 40, and of many differing standards. Furthermore, I've been a tutor on the Sound and Music Summer School for the past three years, helping young composers to write music in cross-cultural styles. Additionally, I have taught students on the National Youth Orchestra of Kenya Residential Scheme in Nairobi.

I am an active freelance performer and often work as soloist, chamber musician and orchestra member in a number of prestigious venues around the UK and abroad.
How much do you charge?
I charge £40 per hour.

Trial lesson is at a reduced fee of £20.
Where do you teach?
Willing to travel to students' homes within the Maida Vale, Marylebone, Hampstead and Finchley Road areas.
When are you available?
Schedule is flexible.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
All ages.

Beginner - Diploma for Clarinet.

Beginner - Grade 5 Piano.

Beginner - Grade 8 Theory
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM Exams.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Current DBS.
Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London (2011 - 2015). My teachers included Timothy Lines and Mark van de Wiel. I have also had a number of masterclasses with Patrick Messina (Orchestre National de France) and Andrew Marriner (London Symphony Orchestra)

I have also attended teaching lectures by Paul Harris and a separate set of classes to achieve my LRAM teaching diploma (yet to be completed)

Prior to RAM, I was a student at the Purcell School and Royal College of Music Junior Department.

I am committed to helping every student to reach their full potential, gaining satisfaction and enjoyment in the process!

Learning an instrument is a challenge but with the correct guidance and work ethic, pupils would be astounded at their progress. I always maintain a relaxed, fun and creative lesson atmosphere so that students can thrive!
