I am an experienced and qualified teacher with an English degree from Oxford University and A Levels in English Literature, Double Maths, History and French.

English (Language and Literature), Maths, History and Creative Writing.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a fully qualified Secondary English teacher, completing a GTP qualification in 2008 and a NQT year in 2009. I have a B.A. in English Language and Literature from St. Catherine's College, Oxford University. I have As in A Level Maths and History.
What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught English since 2004 in secondary schools in Brighton, Liverpool and London. I have tutored students at A level (both English Language and Literature), GCSE, KS3 and KS2. I also run poetry writing workshops for adults and children of all ages
How much do you charge?
£25 per hour. £30 on weekends or for longer travels.
Where do you teach?
I am based in Hackney, East London and can teach at my home or at students' homes or in a venue that mutually suits. No charge for travel for journeys under 30 minutes.

I am an experienced professional and able to make learning accessible, enjoyable and break through barriers to understanding. I am fully trained in working with students with S.E.N and I am a professional poet with a specialism in teaching poetry and writing skills.
